S+C Sessions
Join our Glendale Raptors’ high school rugby players and coaches in a co-ed strength and conditioning program! These sessions are for incoming 9th – outgoing 12th grade high schoolers with previous and current rugby experience. The program is designed to increase functional movement and strength in the rugby off-season.

December 3-19, 2024
- We’re happy to have our high school coach/S+C lead, Gianna Solomon, coaching these sessions.
- There will be 6 sessions in this December program on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm.
- Sessions are at Infinity Park Raptors’ gym. This building is the one across the parking lot from the Glendale Municipal City building.
- Spots are limited to 20 participants

What Is Your Background
On the field, I have been playing rugby for about 10 years. I played as a collegiate athlete at Penn State and then continued on to play for various clubs including NYRC, Atlantis, Northeast Academy, USA U23 and am currently a Colorado Gray Wolf.
Off the field, I have coached State College HS Girls, Northeast Academy, Greenwich HS Girls, Rugby Colorado, USA U20/23, and Dartmouth College.
Why Did You Want To Coach Youth Rugby
I want to coach youth rugby because rugby has provided me with so many positive additions to my life and is something I wish I had the chance to find sooner. Because of this I want to be a driver in giving youth athletes the same incredible opportunities to grow as players and people that I was given.
