Mission and Vision
Youth Development Through Sport
The Glendale Rugby Club is committed to embodying rugby’s inclusive ethos, promoting local engagement and participation at every level. Glendale Youth Rugby, to that end, offers a community-centric social and performance pathway for to youth development through sport.
Fostering mental, social, and physical growth
Through its engagement with local families and youth, Glendale’s programming enlarges the already growing Rugby Family, an inspirational, character-driven model of sport and athleticism, teamwork and diversity, participation and inclusion.
Participants and their families will find a welcoming, supportive culture, one that serves not simply to improve rugby skills, but also to strengthen youths’ sense of self, discipline, and drive. Glendale Youth Rugby fosters mental, social, and physical growth, underscoring the inclusive, tough-yet-elegant nature of youth development through sport.
At Glendale Youth Rugby, as in the sport itself, inclusion and safety are defining pillars of all programming. Significant local outreach in the form of school PE class instruction and after school events also defines Glendale’s commitment to community involvement.
In addition to providing the public with extensive, focused opportunities, Glendale Youth Rugby is a way of life: a positive influence, and a pathway for growth mentally, socially, and physically, true youth development through sport, all the result of the exceptional values that define rugby.
